These Terms govern your use of rtwydb.com and outline general policies when engaging RTWY Design + Build (“RTWY”, “we”, “us”). If these Terms conflict with a signed project agreement, the signed agreement controls.
1) Website Use
- Site content is provided “as is” for general information.
- Do not copy, scrape, or misuse content, images, or trademarks.
- We may update the Site or these Terms at any time.
2) Estimates & Proposals
- Estimates are non-binding and based on available info/typical conditions.
- Work begins only with a signed agreement outlining scope and pricing.
3) Changes & Extras
Scope changes (owner-requested or condition-driven) are documented with written change orders showing price and schedule impact before proceeding when practicable.
4) Permits, Inspections & Codes
Where required, we coordinate permits and inspections for contracted scope. Third-party timelines (city, utilities, inspectors) may affect schedule.
5) Site Access & Safety
- Owner provides reasonable access during working hours and secures pets/valuables.
- We maintain a tidy site and follow applicable safety practices.
6) Schedule
We communicate schedules diligently. Weather, discovery conditions, selections lead times, permitting/inspections, and change orders can shift dates.
7) Payments
- Payment terms are set in your agreement (deposit, progress draws, final payment).
- Late balances may incur a lawful service charge and can pause work until cured.
8) Warranty
Workmanship warranty per your agreement. Manufacturer warranties pass through. Normal wear, misuse, lack of maintenance, and owner-furnished items are excluded.
9) Photos & Marketing
Unless otherwise agreed, RTWY may photograph completed work for portfolio/marketing. We do not disclose personal information or exact addresses.
10) Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RTWY is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to Site use or services. Direct damages, if any, are limited as set forth in the signed agreement.
11) Governing Law
Illinois law governs. Venue is Cook County, Illinois.
